Radiesse Injectable Filler
Radiesse is a new generation longer lasting injectable filler that
offers superior versatility for both cosmetic and reconstructive
use without surgery. The unique composition of Radiesse provides
immediate visual improvement common with other fillers, along with
the benefit of long-lasting results. This is because Radiesse is
made of very tiny, smooth calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres.
The microspheres (particles) form a scaffold through which your body's
own collagen grows, and this produces the desired long-term effect.
These unique advantages make Radiesse an excellent choice for facial
shaping, contouring and deep set wrinkles.
Radiesse will last approximately one year (or longer) and is very
effective for use for the nasolabial creases, marionette lines, cheek
augmentation, non-surgical rhinoplasty, jawline and chin augmentation.
As with any filler, is necessary to discuss your options to determine
which areas are best suited for a Radiesse treatment.
The injection procedure can be slightly painful, so topical and
local anesthetics may be used prior to injecting Radiesse.
